My First White Hair. What?!

May I ask, at what age have you spotted a white hair in your head? Most of us would think hair turning white is a sign of getting old. Well, that's not all the reason. We'll talk about that later but first I'll talk about my own special and precious white hair. 😂

I am sure I had plucked a strand of hair with a part of it in white color a few years ago. It didn't bother me much actually. Fast forward to two days ago while we were outside looking over our plants, my mom noticed something odd on the sea of black strands in my head. A shiny pure white strand stood out and caught her attention.

"Hala..may puting buhok ka na!" ("Oh my.. you already have a white hair!")

And she continued..

"...mag-asawa ka na." ("You better get married now.")

L.O.L. 😂🤦🏻‍♀️

I have also sent the photo to my sister and laughed at it and told me I am already old (grandma level). 😆

There are lots of cases that can cause white hair appearance on young people and uhmmm..the not-so-young. 🙈

• It's in the genes!
• Smoking
• Vitamin B12 deficiency
• Autoimmune disease
• Thyroid disorder
• Stress

If I will base the cause from these options, I am certain and would pick stress in a heartbeat. My goodness, I am stressed with life in general. My eye bags have been deeper than ever and I get headaches occasionally from to much thinking, no wonder a white hair would surface in my young body. 😂😂😂 Kidding! Of course, another thing to consider is aging. We don't get younger each day.

I know some may find it gross but I kept it as a remembrance. Hahaha! I attached the strand inside my eyeglass case for the mean time until I find a better container for it. Hahaha!

Oh well, we can't escape aging. Someday all our hairs will turn white and if it comes early for me then I'll have my hair styled in a way that makes white hair cool or maybe this will be a good excuse for me to dye my hair in blue or dark green. Hahaha!!!
