The KedaiKopi Survey Institute conducted a survey of public opinion on the development of the red and white vaccine. This aims to measure the extent to which the public is aware of the vaccines developed in the country.
The result was that 59.7% of respondents knew about the development of the red and white vaccine. Furthermore, there are 70.7 percent optimistic that the vaccine can solve the Covid-19 pandemic in Indonesia. Meanwhile, 29.3 percent of respondents said they were not optimistic.
"Here we can see that the public's tendency towards the red and white vaccine is 70.7 percent optimistic, 29.3 percent not optimistic, so on a scale of 1-10 the average optimism is 6.3," said the Research Manager of the KedaiKopi Survey Institute, Justito Adiprasetio in a discussion on "Believe in Vaccines", Saturday (17/10).
Meanwhile, 64.7 percent of respondents admitted that Covid-19 was more threatening than 6 months ago. Then as many as 35.3 percent admitted that Covid-19 was not threatening.
"So, Covid-19 is still mediocre," said Justito.
For information, the survey area was carried out in DKI Jakarta using the survey method used was telesurvey. The survey was conducted on 8-10 October 2020, with a total of 803 respondents. Then the respondents were office workers in Jakarta.
