Medical personnel handling Covid-19 in West Aceh District, Aceh Province have not received incentive funds since they first served in January 2020. In fact, these funds have been transferred by the central government to the regions for two stages with the amount of assistance around Rp1.94 billion.
"There are about eight months of incentive funds that have not been disbursed, starting from January to August 2020," said the Head of the West Aceh District Health Office, Syarifah Junaidah, quoted by Antara, Wednesday (7/10).
He explained that the funds had not been distributed because currently his party was preparing a budget disbursement document. Including administrative materials needed so that distribution is in accordance with the provisions of the applicable laws.
Syarifah Junaidah explained that the funds from the center for medical personnel who have been involved in health services and handling Covid-19 in West Aceh Regency have been transferred to the regions.
In the first phase, the local government received Rp290 million of funds which were allocated for paramedics handling Covid-19 in West Aceh, including surveillance personnel from the health office. Then in the second stage, the funds transferred by the central government to the regions amounted to Rp. 804 million.
"So, the funds that have been transferred are around Rp1.94 billion, and will soon be distributed," said Syarifah Junaidah.
