Lionel Messi netted a goal from an exciting solo move when Barcelona knocked out Napoli, but they need to try harder if they are to overcome Bayern Munich in the final stage.
Clement Lenglet opened up the Barcelona network followed by Messi's solo net which was later awarded a penalty, and refined by Luis Suarez, for them to go 3-0 in the first half of the Champions League's last 16 group action at Camp Nou.
Lorenzo Insgine gave Napoli hope with a network before the break and Barcelona looked less convincing in the second half despite defending 3-1 and 4-2 wins on aggregate.
"The second goal will definitely boost their spirits and be able to hurt you. It is normal to feel a little nervous," said Barcelona manager Quique Setien.
Messi had to be treated for injuries from Kalidou Koulibaly's rudeness while getting a penalty.
"He's a strong kicker. He needs to be treated but I don't think there is a problem," said the Barca controller.
A win over Napoli eased a little of the pressure on Barca and their controllers, but a bigger test awaits in the final round against Bayern who overcame Chelsea 7-1 on aggregate.
