West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil said the economic sector in West Java was the most resilient to Covid-19, namely the agricultural sector, especially by using the industrial technology system 4.0.
"The economic sector, agriculture is the most resilient to Covid-19," he said in Cirebon, Wednesday (5/8).
For this reason, he hopes, Cirebon can continue to create agriculture that uses the 4.0 technology industry system, so that it can continue to compete and be resistant to economic turmoil caused by the Covid-19 outbreak.
Ridwan Kamil, who is called Emil, said that during the Covid-19 pandemic almost all economic sectors experienced a decline. But it does not apply to agriculture that uses technology 4.0.
"Cirebon Regency must focus on agriculture, because it turns out that agriculture is the most resilient during the pandemic," he said as reported by Antara.
The agricultural system 4.0, according to him, is an agricultural system that uses technology as exemplified in Indramayu Regency, where they use applications to feed fish.
In addition, in Sukabumi, he continued, fishermen have used applications that support, so that when they want to catch fish right on target. Likewise farmers who when spraying are using unmanned vessels.
"There is also in Bandung, where farmers buy and sell directly online (online), so they don't go through middlemen anymore," concluded Emil.
