The government stated that the disbursement of the salaries of the 13 civil servants (PNS) is expected to be released this week. At present the revision of Government Regulation No. 35 of 2019 governing the salaries of the 13 civil servants has been completed.
The Secretary of the Ministry of Administrative Reform and Bureaucracy Reform (PANRB), Dwi Wahyu Atmaji, said that currently the revision of the PP related to the 13th salary had reached the State Secretariat and was just waiting for the signature / approval from President Joko Widodo.
"The discussion (PP related to the 13th salary) has been completed. Now at the State Secretariat (State Secretariat). Just waiting for the President's approval," Dwi said when contacted Liputan6.com, Monday (3/8).
For his own deadline, Dwi hopes the President's approval will be obtained this week. So after that, it can immediately withdraw 13th salary.
"Hopefully this week (the President's agreement)," he said.
The 13th salary is not accepted by Echelon I and II officials
Previously, Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani previously stated that the distribution of the 13th salary was carried out with a THR policy like last May, which was not given to state officials, echelon I and echelon II officials and the equivalent.
"Payment of the 13th salary will be planned in August 2020. And for this implementation we will immediately issue a revision of the existing regulations. The awarding of the 13th salary is based on PP No. 35/2019 concerning Third Amendment to PP 19/2006 concerning "Salaries, pensions or thirteen benefits to civil servants, TNI soldiers , police, retirement and benefits," he said through a virtual press conference.
The budget allocated for the 13th salary is Rp. 28.5 trillion, including the budget for pensioners. The Ministry of Finance continues to coordinate with the Ministry of Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform (Kemenpan RB) to accelerate this distribution.
