Today I am going to talk about the rise in Anime popularity as it has really grown to an astonishing amount.
Hianime which is a pirated anime streaming website has officially broken streaming record where in the month of October they garnered a staggering 364 Million plus visits which is not a small number by any means. If you have to compare it with Disney Plus which garnered 343 Million plus views in the same period of time.
Do pay attention to the fact that Hianime is simply an Anime Streaming Platform while you can stream Anime, TV series, movies, sports and many more on Disney Plus so it is definitely interesting to see Hianime come out on top.
Now the reason behind this scenario may be because of a couple of things one of which is obviously because of the rise of the popularity of the entire Anime Genre while the second reason is quite small but extremely important in nature. It seems the User Interface of Hianime is quite simple in nature with almost no buffering and annoying popups that come with other websites which makes the overall user experience quite pleasing. I recently tried that website and it’s true the experience felt seamless.
All that being said I am happy that Anime is getting some much needed viewership but at the same time the official streaming websites are losing a lot of money due to these pirated websites and that just doesn’t feel right in my opinion. That being said it is also a fact that there is not a single Official platform that offers all the Anime into one Streaming Website and I feel like if there comes a time when all Anime is streamed under one official website than most people would definitely opt for that subscription rather than watching pirated copies.
