That came as a total surprise.
Just few minutes ago I received an email from Bittrex Global about it.
Effective Monday 4 December 2023, all trading activity on Bittrex Global will be disabled. After that date, customers will only be able to withdraw assets as part of the winding down process.
It is a short notice.
No reasons have been given in the official email.
Some news sources speculate this is related to complex regulation and loosing the battle with SEC in May resulting in a multi million fine being settled.
