아이들 교실에서 재잘거릴 때
선생님 문 열고 들어서면 조용해지듯
낯선 발걸음 다가서면 뚝 그치는
여름밤 무논의 개구리처럼
재잘거림 멈추었다.
안녕하거니 잘 있나 싶어
남들처럼
자랑하거니 안부 하나 툭 던지고 보니
그나마 부산함 사라지고
산속에 자리한 호수처럼 고요하다.
삶의 곤궁함이 한입한입 베어 먹어
몽당비처럼 되어 버리 감정
발걸음 멈춰 서면 다시 재잘거리는
개구리는 그래도 천성이 남이 있다.
너 잘났다고 떠들어 주는 개구리가
몽당비처럼 되어버린
모지랑이 감정을 가진 사람들보다 낫다.
어쩌다 보니 세월에게 보물을 뺏겼다.
