Success and Happiness Sometimes Have Their Own Ways

If life is a race, is success and happiness the finish line? However, why are there officials who are corrupt when they are already rich? Why are so many rich people trapped in drugs, because of stress and frustration? Haven't they been labeled as someone who enjoys the pinnacle of success? How hard is it to find happiness? I don't know how many more questions it takes to guess the meaning of success and happiness.
