Panikurka was once an abundant plant in the backyards of Kerala, the state where I live in India, my country. A storehouse of medicinal properties, this herb was a one-stop-shop for all ailments for children. Its leaves and stem are medicinal parts.

Also called Kanjikurka by the Malayalees, it is called Pashanamedam, Parnayavani, Pashanabhedi in Sanskrit, Patharchur in Hindi and Bengali and Karpooravalli in Tamil. It is also known as Adjaran which is called Indian Rock Pho in English.

If children are given boiled water with Panikorkila to drink, it will cure the occasional cold. Children's immunity will also increase. For children
For colds, fevers and coughs in children, you can give 3 times a day for 2 or 3 days after boiling and squeezing the juice of Panikoorka leaves and adding honey.
Adding turmeric and basil leaves in steaming water is very beneficial. For those who have dry cough, it is good to give Panikoorka leaf juice, Atalodaka juice mixed with sama and honey.
It also helps in warding off intestinal worms. 6 grams to 10 grams of ground Panikoorka leaves mixed with water once at night and drunk Triphala Churnam for diarrhea can be mixed with 1-2 teaspoons of hot water and drunk.
