No Independence... There's slavery

Hello steemians, this is my first post after my introduction post but it's so obvious that it's a sad one. It shouldn't be sad if things were rightly place but we have a good ship in a wrong hand and it's sailing us to destruction.

Today is the first day of October and Nigeria is exactly 61 years old on this day in 1960 Nigeria got it's independent but they're much more than a mere slave. We got all the resources to allow us compete with the western world but the clueless and greedy leaders has made everything worse for it's citizen.

We are 61 years and can't boost of a good leadership, good economy and good governance. What is the need for the independent when our debt status is only increasing and our dignity falls. What need do we have to celebrate when we live in fear.

We can't make our voices heard without getting killed. They call us leaders of tomorrow while we still have living dead as leaders. The cabals are the one rotating power among themselves. There's no Independence. There's fear, there's insecurity, there's hunger, there's slavery. We are far from Independence. We are the center of poverty and den of thieves. God save Nigeria. God save the African giant
