Speaking to Reuters, Shang Hong told Reuters, "Even if you are normal, disabled, or have lost your arms and legs, if you have a strong mind, you can touch the target no matter what anyone says."
Shang Hong climbed Mount Everest on May 24th. He was assisted by three guides. Born in Chongqing, China, Chong Hong lost his sight at the age of 21 due to glaucoma. Shong Hong has been named as the first Asian visually impaired person to reach the summit of Mount Everest.
