오늘은 많은 분들이 알고 계시는 디즈니 오프닝 곡이자, 피노키오의 ost인 When you wish upon a star라는 곡을 소개해 볼까 합니다.
이 곡은 처음에 백설공주와 일곱 난쟁이에서 디즈니의 로고를 나타낼 때 해당 음악이 사용되었다가 1940년 가사가 붙으면서 피노키오의 정식 OST로 편입되고 그 후로는 또 사용되지 않았다가 1985년 타란의 대모험부터 다시 사용되면서 결국 디즈니 영화사 로고와 같이 나오는 음악으로 계속 쓰일 정도로 디즈니를 상징하는 음악이 되었습니다.
여담으로는 월트 디즈니가 가장 좋아한 노래라고 하며, 발매 후 70년이 넘은 현재에도 길이 남을 명곡으로 손꼽히고 있습니다.
