In everyday life I have had the opportunity to teach subjects such as mathematics, physics, among others related to calculations "at university level", through my experience as an informal teacher I have always had two feelings, excitement and disappointment. The results of some of my students affected my confidence as a teacher, but later I learned that I had to be conformist because not everyone has the ability to understand, much less put into practice what they have learned, because the idea is not only to learn, but to put it into practice every day, otherwise, what they have learned can be forgotten. So I did not get frustrated, I keep a clear conscience that I have taught them to solve problems.

Many users have little discipline, they do not have clear objectives or goals, they are not consistent, they tend to get discouraged quickly for some cause or reason, all this prevents them from developing an outstanding activity on the platform, or at least, a decent one.

Your points are good but if the only motivation is the SC01 upvote I prefer to leave it like that.

The reason is to offer a kind of manual or guide to users in general. I know that some will seem too confident on this subject, but I am sure that we always have something to improve in our posts, no matter how many years we have on the platform. None of us are experts or super gifted, but we can show our knowledge to guide us to improve. Each one will see if he absorbs the information that is shared.

Users are selected as SR for showing something interesting, whether it is commenting a lot, promoting the platform, reviewing content, quickly adding SP, motivating others, among other reasons. Reports are posts where they can share their activity or a message, there they receive the vote that corresponds to them according to the SC criteria.
