I have no doubt that there is magic in flowers.
As a young man (26, which is young depending on where you stand in relation to it), I dated a woman who was a flower essence practitioner, essentially a New Age witch. She prescribed flower essences to me, I suppose as a way to 'work on her man,' as women are wont to do.
(Flower essences are made with flower petals distilled in water and/or alcohol to capture the vibration of the plant. The vibration is then used to treat particular emotional and physical maladies.)
I don't think we had identified a particular emotional malady at the time that my girlfriend prescribed them. It was just meant as a general support.
The first day that I took the essences (as drops), I had a vision. I saw myself as a brilliant pink cloud, with a steady sphere of light in its center. The cloud rotated around the center: the cloud was myself in temporal form, while the center was my eternal, unchanging self.
Of course, it has taken me years to put those words to the vision I saw. And the vision was the beginning of a yearslong healing journey.
But, I'd say flowers are pretty magical, considering I began that journey by taking just a few drops of their essence!
Information about Flower Essences
You can read more about flower essences on these websites. I used all three of these essences on my journey. I especially recommend the Australian Bush essences; those help you get to the core of matter really quick!
I think, for my vision, I was taking the Bach essences.
