Creating content for the sake of content creation or is it for the sake of engagement? This is a question I have been asking myself a lot lately. I keep trying to make things about engagement, some get a hit but I have to give something away which is an expense I really cannot afford. Most are flops, as I have nearly no following anymore or at least I cannot tell if I do with few comments and no view counts. This is why I figure for me creation is more about the process which tends to be a hard balancing act of engagement and creation. Often regular creators like myself don't curate and vice versa yet I find myself trying to do both amongst life and all its complexities. These #freewrite posts are key for me as they involve working out some of my deepest creative writings. I will not stop writing just at this post I am uncertain if I am investing my time wisely trying to make it about engagement.

Blockchain Coffee "Spool"
This one brings me back to the good all days remembering my grandfather playing with his camcorder and VCR’s. I was young, thinking about it I didn’t pay attention very well but I do remember he had a two VCRs and two TVs set up for doing his film work from camcorder. Cutting and splicing scenes from one to the other, till right now I didn’t realize I had a very introduction to film creation.
Seems only natural to me now that I would take to it like a fish to water. I had a yearning to try record and edit, could this have been my grandfathers influence? I believe there is more to this world then we can perceive so what message was I picking up on and who was sending it? Recording and editing video was to me, a yearning nearly the same as cannabis was. I have written about it several times now, my calling to cannabis and how my family exposed me to it very early but never told me what it was. How when the day finally came to smoke I was upset that no one had forced me to smoke it earlier as it seem to be the only thing to relieve me from the burden of existence.
In the same way I can sit down to smoke a joint and relax, I can also sit down to edit a video and lose myself. Lose myself to the creative outlet installing those emotions and feelings into what I present to the world. Thank god things are a lot simpler these days as trying to play with a spool of film while stoned isn’t nearly as appealing to transitions on a the computer. We live in a day and age where anyone can try and from their find a calling, a purpose, a destiny I guess you could say.
Having taken on creation with honesty very early on opening me up to many possibilities I have learned more about myself in 2 years then my life previous. Though I have spoken about my love of both weed and creation one thing I’ve never really mentioned is how …
