So this is my first attempt at a Freewrite 5 minutes flew by much faster than I thought. I type fast, and can usually put my thoughts down at a rapid pace, but dang it's so short. Oh well, here is my story:

“Set a Course for Pluto”, commanded a tall fierce figure.
The navigator confirmed, “Aye-Aye Captain Course Set for Pluto”
The crew braced for the next command from their captain;
“Initiate Warp”.
The ship lurches forward and begins its long, boring trek to Pluto.
Captain Comparrio stood up from his chair, “The Bridge is yours”.
As he Walks away First Officer Lampsing steps up, “Yes, Sir”.
While Captain Comparrio walked to the Grav Lift the ship suddenly decelerates throwing him to the floor.
The interior lights turn red and a klaxon alarm sounds in the background.
A distant crew member can be heard, “We have entered a warp interdiction bubble, scans show 3, no 4, no five…”
He is interrupted as Captain Comparrio stands up, wipes a bead dripping blood from his brow.
“Don’t Panic, we have trained for this people…Shields Up!”

I plan on it, I am home on disability at the moment, so no time like the present. I have been going insane bored out of my mind. So maybe this freewrite can be like my daily crossword to keep my brain from turning to mush. Bear with me as I shake off the cobwebs, I used to believe I was a decent writer. At least 2 decades ago though, lol
