I rushed to the hospital, gasping for air and very anxious. Someone called me in the middle of the night saying my best friend was there, and that she needed someone to accompany her. Without asking any questions, I ended the call and prepare to leave.
When I arrived at the hospital I saw my friend crying in fear. I hugged her tight to make her calm down, and she did. She was trembling that she couldn't utter the words clearly. I waited for quite some time for her to think normally.
After a few minutes, she was ready to tell me the whole story.
Her boyfriend was driving the car late at night with her in the front seat, for they were heading to a certain place for a stargazing. They were talking here and there about all the things that happened that day. It seemed a perfect moment for both of them. All of a sudden, another fast car appeared from nowhere and crashed their car. Her boyfriend wanted to avoid the said car, but he failed. The car hit them seriously that they were forced to be bumped into a tree which caused more damage. Everything happened so fast, that she couldn't remember every detail. The last thing she saw was her boyfriend bleeding and unconscious.
Someone came into the room and told us that my friend's boyfriend is gone. She cried a river. I felt so sad for her. I couldn't say any word and just hugged her tight.
Accidents easily happen because of others. The other driver hit the road?
