The Weekend Freewrite - 2/8/2020 - Enough is Enough. Goodbye.

I gritted my teeth and said nothing.
It's been happening over and over again. History repeating itself again and again. No matter what I said... He just ain't listening... This time, I have decided to keep my mouth shut. No, not a word. Not another word from me. Neither any other action to be taken. Too tired to do anything to try to reverse whatever it had been done. Just let it be. Maybe it's because always there's someone there to clean the 💩💩💩, so it keeps repeating. Let's see if let it be, maybe it might end differently.

Suddenly, the heater kicked in with a loud rumbling noise cutting through the silence.
The entire room started to feel warmer... "See, I told you, it will work. Just a little tweak... And we successfully "borrowed" the gas from our neighbour... I am indeed a genius! Hahahahah!"
Deep down inside, I have this uneasy feeling... Should I just shun the uneasiness away?

Just when I was in this indecisive situation, suddenly a child screamed. It's our neighbour's son, Alex.

Alex kept screaming "NO NO NO! HELP! Maxxie is on fire! Help!" Following the scream, an explosion and everything went dark.

I ran outside. Maxxie, Alex's pet kitten was stuck at a device beside our fence. He was on fire!

Jason screamed! "No no no! My genius invention! You stupid cat!"

It was too late for Maxxie. And because of his genius idea, both our neighbour and ourselves will have to suffer for three days without electricity and heater. If he had just paid for the bills, this won't happen. And we won't be penalized for the whole thing. It's a good lesson, maybe or maybe not, for him. He 's going to spend three months behind the bars for "stealing". I will be leaving this behind and start all over again.
