I tried to remember my first lie.
I thought real hard to remember when it first started and my thinking goes way back.
But as I thought, I discovered many lie I had forgotten and lies I had laid to rest.

But I could not really place my first lie.
The more I thought about a particular lie as my first, the more I remember others that go way back.
In the end, I could not place my first lie.
It seems I had told more lie than I thought.

The trick about telling a lie is that it is a circle that never stops, you can keep telling a lie to cover up another lie. Most times you would not be able to keep track of it.

My first lie...I cannot remember exactly!

I could say your first lie is that you said you didn't lie, which is most likely true since what others see for a lie a child doesn't consider a lie but more likely sees a fantasy. It's proven that 2-year-olds already lie even if they are never punished for not telling the "truth" whatever that may be.

Lol...
As much as this sounds funny, I see truth in these words. At that tender age, we barely count it as a lie.
