Stiff fingers! A 5 minute freewritepoetry

in hive-161155 •  4 years ago

Hands of a hardworking person who with care
you cleaned the house, you dusted the dust, you swept the floor
you washed my clothes, you watched over me when it took
The years passed and your stiff fingers did not complain

You are already in another plane, next to the angels
there now I think that your hands recovered like velvet
they perch on the clouds, clawing at wishes
of us who miss you now.

What would I give to hold your hands again
it would only be a fleeting moment
my soul rejoices knowing that you see us now
I miss you forever "Dear Mother".

Dedos rígidos
.
