It's always been my parents desire to go on a holy pilgrimage to Israel but it has always seemed like a dream too tall to achieve. So you could imagine the joy he expressed when I told him that I had finalised plans for him to join some church elsers on an organised pilgrimage to Israel. He was very excited but was gloomy for a moment when he remembered that he had intended to make this journey with my mum, his late wife. But nonetheless, he was excited to be making the trip especially when he learnt that two of his closest friends were going to be there.

My grandpa wanted too but my grandmother refused. It was the last trip he made while he was already sick (bone cancer). My grandmother always blamed Israel and said the country made him sick.
Years later I found the pictures my grandpa made and read his travel journey. It was great to read how he enjoyed it. I hope your dad and his friends will too. 🍀♥
