WE have seen a lot of spam being posted to the community.

That has to stop!!!

I, Marianne West, started the Freewrite Daily Prompt almost three years ago. Every single day, I have posted a writing prompt to Steem.

Many people have started to write to the prompt and a community has formed. That let to the founding of the Freewrite House and to this community.

We tried to be open to all writers - which resulted in the current situation - Spam, Spam, and more Spam.

The open experiment has failed.

Now, the community is going back to its basics.

The Freewrite Community is for Freewriters using the prompt published on @mariannewest's profile.

1. You must use the prompt
2. You must link to the prompt you are using for your freewrite
3. You will receive one warning if you post a random post
4. You will be muted if you post unrelated articles

If you are muted and want to be unmuted, you must leave a link to your freewrite, following all the rules in the comment section of the prompt post. I will unmute you - but if you break the rules again, you will be muted for good.

Do not send me DMs. I will not answer them.

If you think that the rules are tough, thank the spammers of Steem. They are about to ruin it for everyone.
