They Say There is Nothing There

What is it? Is it a plate?. Is it a balloon? Is it a ball? No, it's a full moon.

Between the full moon and the midday sun, it's awesome to consider this world. I really don't want to think about them too much. They're mind boggling.

So many mighty and powerful things around me. I take for granted. The ocean. The mountain. The rain cloud. The earth beneath my feet.

Caught up in what feels like a two-dimensional space. A straight line going forward in time with only two-dimensional interactions with the others around me moving in the same two-dimensional space.

But wait! What's that? The full moon? Come to shed some light on higher dimensions? Just the sheer magnitude of the thing! For all I know it could be made of green cheese. What do I know? But whatever it is, it's awesome. Cooling and refreshing. peaceful and calm. An eerie silence about it.

If the moon were a sound it would probably be OM.... Moon? OM? Kind of fits.

Did they go to the moon? I rather doubt it. Most likely there was some political chicanery going on between nations. A show of power. Some posturing.

They say there is nothing there? Just some moon rocks and dust. Really? I don't believe everything I hear.
