Where I come from being left handed is viewed as something bad. Both hands are so differentiated as if they do not belong to the same person. We grew up being stopped from using our left hands..
If you want to collect something from someone and you use your left hand you are in trouble especially if it is an elder .
If you want to buy something and you touch it with your left hand the seller would snap at you.
However I think there is a myth behind it, I have not been able to understand what crime our left hands have committed.
I have a few relations that were born to use their left. You won't believe how much pressure was put on them to change it. Some of them changed while some did not change completely. People even made jest of them.
As time went on I got to know that it is medically wrong to pressurise a left handed person to change because it may affect their level of intelligence. This is because being left handed means the positions of a person's brain is different. Now that does not make the person different as a matter of fact people say that left handed people are very intelligent.
