It does sound at times like Elon Musk is quite naive about politics. Perhaps that is because he keeps his head down accomplishing things in the real world. I don't think he understands what the vicious cruel animals called politicians are capable of since he has them eating out of his hand right now. Hong Kong has been screwed over by China and Taiwan would be as well. Putin is a thug and a gangster but so is the Ukrainian government. Governments are nothing more than glorified organized crime syndicates no matter how you look at them. As for Nobel Peace Prizes, they are less than useless. They prop up people like Al Gore or Barak Obama -- the only Nobel Peace Prize winner to ever drop bombs on other Nobel Peace Prize winners (Doctors Without Borders -- Afghanistan).
