I came to the boat ramp after fishing all-day and backed my truck down the ramp I put my foot on the brake to stop just before my back tires get to the water and the brake pedal goes all the way to the floor, I am an old pro at knowing what to do, I hit the emergency brake. This makes the third time my brakes have gone out on the boat ramp, the first time a caliper exploded when I was driving my husbands truck the next time was a brake line on my truck and today another brake line has a hole in it. I had to drive to the fish house and home, I could get it to stop but if someone pulls out in front of me, it would be bad.
I have some brake fluid that I will put in it in the morning then I will carefully drive to a boat ramp closest to the house. My husband will go to the auto store and buy more brkae fluid and give it to me on the river so when I get back to the ramp I can pour it in so I can make it home.
There is a nice old retired man who fishes for something to do. He loves to go in the ocean. His boat is not much bigger than mine. A couple of weeks ago my husband told me old man Gene is going to get in trouble out there. Today was that day, he sunk his boat on Monster Hole, he was lucky that there were two commercial boats near him, they were able to get his boat back up and floating and one of them towed him back to the ramp.
I wanted to write about the goings-on of today and somehow I have to work found art in here somewhere and the only thing I can think of is I have never found art.
