The birds nest:
The bird needed to take a rest, but first it needed to make a nest.the wind was cold,and the rain was harsh,and most the ground had turned to marsh.
Then she saw it a place warm and nice, and what's more it had no lice, there is cut up grass to make a nest; for a bird this is the best.It's under a box one strange and new, but it was warm so in she flew.
She Laid her eggs in the nest, and watched the sun set in the west.So on the eggs she did stay waiting for the eggs to hatch and see the day. So she waited And waited and waited Until... It heard a tap tap tap... The birds had hatched!
The Babies
As the baby birds grew and grew, they began look around and through, the big strange box of which they knew. It was metal and strange and had wheels on the side, and was big but was still way too small to ride.What is the box, and what does it do,but nobody ever ever knew.
Except for one man of course that is,who owned the box and knew it was his,he fed the box lots of fuel,which it guzzled down fresh and new.The birds inside were all asleep,when the lawn mower blades began to creak!
