A text was the beginning of his humiliating streak for the night, Clark was his name, but unlike his role model; the fictional Clark Kent, he was as emo as can be. The rumors didn't help either and he never bothered clearing them up. A notification for a house party he could have chosen to not go was his first bad decision, his choice of outfit was his second as he chose not wear the full blacks (black trousers with a matching black shirt, jacket and boots) he was known for but decided to wear something very different and came out looking like the poster boy for homeless persons. On reaching the party, the silence was nothing new to him but he felt a difference in this silence as though it was a hint that the night was far from good.
The DJ played a upbeat music and he made another bad decision: asking the most popular girl in school to dance with him. No one knew who laughed first but there was certainly a sound of laughter coming from the back where the football players and cheerleaders gathered, and as though to show the level of his alienation or to prove that his decision was a bad as his dressing, the whole party was awash with mocking faces and sneers as the sound of laughter grew.
He left the party feeling more miserable than he did when he entered, but his face never showed his emotions, and his fake confidence won over the heart of the 'campus belle' but he would never know that as she would only find out the next morning that the boy with a bad dress-sense who she fell in love with was dead after being hit by a car as he crossed the road ending his streak of bad choices forever.
