Hello to every Steemian and special greetings to all the Freewriters, it is another 5minutes freewrite time and I invite everyone to join this challenge by @mariannewest, for those who want to join, you can find the prompt here.
For today's 5minutes Freewrite, I will be writing a sequel to my last Freewrite, you can find the first part of the story THE BEACH HOUSE MURDER here. Read and have fun.
"THE BEACH HOUSE MURDER"; THE SUSPECT.
The police arrived at the beach house, after they received a phone call from the management of the resort letting them know that someone has been killed at the resort.
A lot was going on, Mike was still in shock, he could not believe that his beautiful Kate was gone, who could have done this.
The police sealed off the area, as they were busy gathering evidence and as they said, they don't want the crime scene contaminated.
Questions were asked, Mike was questioned, some other persons especially the other occupants of the resort were questionned and everyone gave their account.
Very late into the night the detective in charge of the case left the scene but made sure Mike was given another apartment within the resort as the beach house he was staying in with his wife was now a crime scene.
Mike was still in shock when he heard the knock on his door the next morning, he opened the door for the detective thinking he came with some information about yesterday's incident but he was not prepared for what he heard next.
Mike Anderson you are under arrest for the murder of Kate Anderson. Mike could not believe his ears, he tried protesting, telling them he was innocent but they would not listen to him, he is a suspect in the beach house murder, he is being suspected of killing his own wife.
