Manicure

I'm not sure at what time having a manicure became popular. For sure not during the biggest part of my life. Till today I don't know anyone who does let her/his hands, nails being clipped and painted by a stranger. I doubt you'll find many salons with us. I know a friend took some lessons but if it worked out? She told me she was too slow. Too slow is not a big deal if the job is great unless you let yourself get paid for the job instead of per 30 minutes. I assume she gave up on it which didn't surprise me at all.

If it comes to letting others take care of your nails I think of the elderly. That's what I mainly associate a manicure and pedicure with. Stranger washing hands and feet of the elderly, and those who cannot reach their own feet. Yellow nails, bad odours, all kinds of diseases hidden underneath layers of polish, fake nails and socks. You have to like a job like this and it must be great if you are really artistic and make someone feel and look better. If it comes to me I don't think a manicure is worth spending my money on.

I wrote about nails before long nails. Not very attractive to look at. If you soak your hands and feet for 5-15 minutes in washing soda they are clean. It helps against infections too. Wear gloves for dirty jobs, use a good cream, clip your nails and take care of the intake of minerals and vitamins.
