Formally

Guess how old I am, Some of you believe I am 50-60 years old, he wrote. The rest of his post was about age, the age others thought he had. He explained that his wisdom and great articles had nothing to do with his age but the fact he was intelligent.
To be honest I don't know what to think if I read a text like that. Once in a while, I read his articles and I never felt it was written by a middle-aged man. To me, it was clear he was not. By the way, I never read comments where people said: hey, mister / old man what makes you think or say this. It feels to me as if the writer thinks others think he is old. Not because of the sense he talks or wisdom he shares because of the formal language used. I noticed there isn't much interaction although readers or followers respond with "thank you sir" or "good to know sir". Using 'sir' can be a sign of respect but isn't necessary it all depends on where you live and how you like people to see you.

Do you know what is formally too? Deepl.com I noticed if this translation tool is used it changes each text into a formal, frequently boring one to read. Kind of a pity but who knows in future it will improve unless the chip in our brain turns each one of us into a native speaker no matter where we are.
