I am not American

I am not African-American
I am not white
I never been a slave
Although...
My anchestors been long ago.
Too long ago.
It's no day to celebrate.
Not to me.
I prefere to do what my grandparents and their ancestors did.

They started allover again.
New country
New life
New chances.
They ignored the colour of skins.
Had a look at the insides.
They worked hard.
Each one of them.
They studied.
They had a dream.
They realized it on their own.

They never complained.
They didn't use the word "discrimination".
They spoke in a soft tone.
Shouting is for losers, people who cannot win a discussion with facts and common sense.
Tunnel vision.
Hate.
Greed.
Lack of motivation.
Not in the mood to work.
Taking everything for granted.

Who doesn't work, will not eat.
The rules I was raised with.
We work hard and save for later.
We save before we buy something.
Wish-lists, not demand-lists.

If you want to be normal (common), act normal!
Integrate
Swallow your pride.
Do as you like inside your home.
All life matters,not black life only.
Discrimination is of all races.

If they could make it, I could, you can too.
Slavery...
It never ended.
Many women can tell you all about it.
Underdogs of the society.
Abused illegal foreigners is slavery too.
Women, children, men...
Slavery never ended.
I ask you: Where are you if all these people ask for help?
Does all life matter or just yours?

It's 2021 and there's more slavery than ever. Each country, each race does it and together we find it normal, handy and normal.

Let's fight this together, not against eachother.
If you say you are different, you are different.
A new start can never be made if you live in the past
A past that never been yours!
You don't know what it was like.
You don't know how it felt.
At times it feels you need this for an excuse.
