Rope

We should do what we like and are good at. My friend @solperez and I talked about this before. It is good to be open and honest and discuss what can be improved or if it's wiser to back off.

Her Steemit Journey shocked me and at the same time, I thought:" This is me".

Crazy art lovers, creators fighting for (others their) art, to be noticed but they are not great in selling. It's hard to ask for attention if you are raised with the words only hard work pays. Shouting on the streets "Buy me! I am the best, most loyal, honest and hard-working person and the plus is I work as hard as three employees... ", it's not part of our culture.

Are we working for free? All those hours we invest. The moderating, checking, the time we take to read, think about what the text does with us and how to respond or is it better to shut up? It would be nice indeed if we could at least pay the internet bill. One should think that must be possible if other claim they could built a house with Steem. Where are all those great content producers?

Steemit is an adventure and not different from other social media. There are challenges, groups you can join and there's the opportunity to meet likeminded. Are there trolls? For sure just like lazy people and a handful of overactive ones. You will experience good and bad but for sure the chance to earn makes it more attractive to hang around and if this is not the case you can try to gain fame without Steem.

Steemit can be overwhelming, scary and all those rules is not what everyone wants during his spare time. To more than one it feels like a rope around the neck while others see the same rope as a safety line or a life line. If the fun is gone it is good to take a break and ask yourself: "What is it I want for me?"
A good idea can be to sail into another direction and try out something new. No matter what we do we always take a risk, a change of risk can give a better, more satisfying result.

Dear friend, @solperez, congratulations with your two 🐬🐬
Let's swim together if we can't take the boat.

Keep on sailing.... For that ... favorable winds...

In the end, is all matter of perspective. How you see it, it’s how Steemit treats you. The guy that introduced me to steemit will always tell me, to look at steemit from a business approach in order to benefit from the reward.

Yes, steemit can be overwhelming but we just have to keep pushing on with the aim of building a house with steem like u mentioned…😊😊

Congratulations ma’am on your new double dolphin status.

I have no new dolphin or did some give me one overnight? 🤔

@solperez has her second dolphin though. If my next arrives I don't think I'll announce it.

It's a very good advice you received: Steemit inc is business and we should ask ourselves if we fit into the business model but also if we are willing to work for it.

Jeje. Gracias por este comentario.

Let's remove that rope and do as we like.
