Try not to offend

It's hard not to offend people these days. Out of experience I say it's impossible. You can lie at one piece to try to avoid that but lying won't work out too. To my opinion people feel too easily offended about everything and nothing. If this happens to you it's time to have a closer look at yourself. What exactly made or makes you feel so easily hurt? How come you see everything as a personal attack and feel the need to attack others without even reading or trying to read, understand the entire story? Being objective is hard and so is handling the truth or dealing with what you don't like to hear. It's easier said than done. We pretend we want to hear the truth but that naked truth sucks.
Of course many of us get over it, find a way to handle with the negative feedback and some even learn out of it. Those who feel offended till the end of the day will have a hard life. They will loose everything since no one likes to be around drama queens, negative and people without humour for long. It helps if you learn to laugh about it. Humour, black humour is healthy and helps to get over whatever it is we struggle with.

While I searched for a photo on pixabay.com I mainly saw those where people show their middle finger. I wonder where and when exactly it went wrong. What was the moment so many gave up on norms and values? To me it doesn't look very attractive to see people of all ages make this gesture, scold, curse. I ignore it as much as possible and like I said to my child a few days ago: My life is good.
My kid was surprised and I added to it: It's good because I don't take part of it.

I think I can only agree with this. What hurts hurts most because of our emotions.
