On this occasion I will post about a beautiful beach resort in Aceh, namely the Inong Bale Fort.

On this Inong Balee Beach, a fort was built to monitor foreign ships trying to enter or attack Aceh through this route. In this fort, military training was also held to provide skills to the Inong Balee who wanted to fight. Apart from being a Monitoring Fortress, Military Training Facility, this place is also a place for logistics placement.

After returning to the past and knowing a little about the heroic story behind Inong Bale Beach, now is the time for to experience the beauty and excitement of freediving on this beach. From Fort Inong Balee, Voyagers can see how blue the sea water seems to be alive and calls for you to come down and play with them. To reach the beach and have to walk down about 30 meters from this fort.

On this beach there is no place to change/rinse, there is no place to rent snorkeling equipment and there are also no mattresses or mattresses that can be rented to relax. This beach is empty aka "Still like a virgin", even to enter this location is free or there is no entrance fee. In addition to the lack of adequate facilities, the difficulty of the terrain to get to this place is also what makes not many people play to this beach.

Inong Balee is taken from the Acehnese language. Inong means "woman", while Balee means "widow". The name cannot be separated from the "Haru Bay War" which occurred around the 1600s, a war event where the Acehnese soldiers fought to repel Portuguese soldiers who tried to enter Aceh. The war was finally won by the Aceh army, it's just that the victory had to be paid dearly with the deaths of thousands of Acehnese soldiers.

The death automatically made the soldiers' wives change their status to "widows". Admiral Malahayati, one of the women whose husband died during the Haru Bay War also submitted a request to Sultan Alauddin Riayat syah Al-Mukammil to make a war fleet whose contents were the widows of the victims of the Haru Gulf War. The request was granted by Sultan Alauddin and Admiral Mahayati was appointed Commander of the Fleet. This fleet became known as the Inong Balee Fleet.
