Hello Steemit Team, first we would like to express our appreciation for the support you have given to us. This support has changed a lot in the environment of the Steem Japan community. It has influenced our members to create quality posts and our active members are growing each day. It plays a significant role in the development of our community.
🗾 Community Purpose
The main purpose of this community is to share members' experiences, lifestyle, and events happening in Japan and connect it with other community members. Steem Japan isn't only for Japanese people since there are people from different countries who lived here. Our community is diverse and it's open for anybody curious about our Japanese culture. Those that want to share their Japanese experiences travel blogs, foods, and any sensible posts. But now, to make us more unique, we will be focusing more on culture and tradition blogs from our members in different countries. As of now, we observed that there are more users outside Japan and that we welcome them all with open arms.
📝 Is your community unique?
A Japanese Community already existed long before, but at present, it's not. Therefore, we are the sole active community in Japan for Japanese users. That makes us unique.
🎎 Community Team;
We have several members who help our community from different countries. The active core team members are:
Name | Role |
---|---|
@cryptokannon | CR/Founder and Admin |
@tomoyan | Admin |
@yasu | MOD |
@juichi | MOD |
- Language and countries of our team
Name | Language | Country |
---|---|---|
@cryptokannon | Bahasa/English | Japan |
@tomoyan | Japanese/English | Japan |
@yasu | Korean/Japanese | Korea |
@juichi | Tagalog/English | From the Philippines and now living in Japan |
We all speak different languages, but the primary languages used in our community are Japanese and English.
- Are your members paid or rewarded in any way from the community funds for their work in running the community?
Only when we've enough Steem, will our team members receive incentives from our community. But as of now, we are not giving any amount of steem or sbd to our team. We've to prioritize our delegators and pay their monthly rewards so that they won't withdraw their delegated Steem power from us. We need their delegated Steem power to support our community users. Our team serves the Steem Japan community voluntarily and wholeheartedly without expecting any incentives in return.
- If you only have one Admin what would happen to your community if you left or lost your keys?
For now, the posting keys and the master password are already given to the team members, if ever the Admin will go, Moderators will have to take over since they have all the keys needed.

What is the current Voting CSI score for the account (from Steemworld.com)?
The current Voting CSI-19.0 ( 0.00 % self, 241 upvotes, 59 accounts, last 7d ) Out. Votes...Though the voting percent varies, we made sure that the majority are well rewarded by the community account.What are your plans for growing the SP of the account,
Curation rewards are used to pay for contest prizes and delegators. But the majority is used to power up to grow the account. Our curation account has grown a lot monthly so with our users and the numbers of delegators.Are all the post rewards powered up, or are they used for paying delegators or members of the community team?
As we mentioned above, our team members are serving our community voluntarily, and are not paid. We accumulate most of our earnings to power up and grow the Steem Japan curation account.On average what proportion of the posts each week receive voting from the community account?
For our 3 posts to be submitted for booming upvotes, each member has a chance 2 times a week depending on the quality of their posts. For community upvotes, we almost vote all members' posts and give a percentage depending on the quality of their post, @tomoyan, and @juichi are in charge of this matter.
👺Plagiarism & Abuse
- What measures do you take to check for plagiarism and other forms of abuse(content farming, duplicate accounts, fake accounts)
We are working with @endingplagiarism and added as a MOD to check plagiarism. We checked on contents and photos if personal or sourced correctly. Our admin @tomoyon is additionally checking every post to make sure it's plagiarized-free. He even caught several users who are having duplicate accounts and had given proper warning already. And if the abuse will continue, we'll mute the account so it won't get support from the community.
🌸Engagement & Commenting
- Does the community team check and comment on every post in the community?
We recently started running our engagement stats report script (daily and weekly) for us to know who exactly are actively making comments, active in making a post, and their involvement in our community.
- If not, approximately what proportion of posts are commented on?
Our community Admin @tomoyan is commenting on all posts using the community account. Almost daily we receive 30 or more community posts and over 200 posts every week.
🍣 Plans & Updates
- How often do you post plans and updates for the community?
Mostly we are updating our community status 3-4 times a week. We often discussed what is going on in our community like contests, events, community account rewards to our delegators, and warnings about phishing sites. We also mention our plans and direction for our community.
- Do you have a roadmap or long-term plan for the community?
The big plan we talked about is that the self-sustainability of this community. We wish to have continued support from @steemcurator01 and @booming. Your support is extremely appreciated by our community. We also try to find new ways to grow our community with our members. We aim to reach 200,000 Steem Power or more for the coming months or years and if ever it will happen, then we can support our members using our community account alone.
🍜 Promotion
- How do you promote your community?
Besides having our discord channel to promote our contest, our Moderator @juichi is now promoting steemit in different areas in Japan. He conducted meet-ups and mask distribution in parks and other public places bringing our Steem Japan Community name. He also designs a T-shirt for our community as part of his promotion. Wearing it casually is a simple way of promoting and attracting people to be curious about Steemit.
Also, we have an official Steem shirt designed by one of our admins @tomoyan.
- Do you promote your community outside Steemit?
Now Japan has lifted its state of emergency, we are now allowed to conduct meet-ups and gatherings. As we mentioned above @juichi is now starting promoting Steemit in different places here in Japan. By doing this we hope that Steemit will slowly be known here in Japan.
Anything Else
- Why your community should be selected for extra support?
Even though our community has a bit of steem power, still all our team members are active, motivated, and enthusiastic about making this community better. We believed that with this community support program, we will take our community to the next level and build a stronger user base on Steemit not just for Japanese but for all users around the Globe.
Club5050
- Have all your team members committed to Club5050?
Even before the launch of the #club5050 program, we are already implementing power-up rules to our members and giving warnings for those who are powering down. If you check our community post most of it is about powering up and delegation. We received more than 20 posts from our users who are posting about their power-ups. Our team is also engaged to support the #club5050 and to be a rule model to our members.
- How are you encouraging members of your community to commit to #club5050?
We've been encouraging our members ever since to power up their accounts, we are also making content about it. We teach them the benefits of power-up and how important power-up is in the Steemit ecosystem.
- What success with promoting Club5050 has your community had so far?
The increase in steem power of our community curation account is evidence. And that we believe the #club5050 initiative is very effective too. Our community account is also doing our part. This week, we power up almost all of our earnings. Hoping this will inspire our members too.
Our community members have started tagging #club5050. Some of them have already recieved an upvote from steemcurator01. In fact #club5050 brings success to many by now.
Conclusion;
To the Steemit Team, we are hopeful that we can still have your support this month of November. As we have observed, our members from different countries are now continuously growing and there are new Japanese who are also joining with us. Our steem power is getting stronger as we have now more delegators. Your supports inspires a lot of our members to be more active and do a quality post the best they could. We are committed not to break your trust in Steem Japan Community.

Very good post..
Very important information for me and for us..
I am very happy to be able to join this great STEEMJAPAN community for many reasons:
the first is that besides us getting support from the official STEEMIT Team account, namely steemcurator01 and Booming, also in this community we support each other among members by following the @japansteemit curation trail so that we can provide voice support to all members who are active in the community.
And I also see that this community continues to grow so it's really a great community and very developed. And I also see that in this community the members and also the posts consist of various languages that exist in Asia. This is a great collaboration and a strong relationship between nations and countries in Asia.
Thank you very much to all members of this community especially to the admins:
@cryptokannon
@tomoyan
@yasu
@juichi
Because all of you have worked hard to build this community and continue to support this community so that all of us can benefit greatly from it.
Good luck @rijalaronaceh
