Greetings Steem Japan and to all Steemians.

Today I'm going to share with you one of the traditions of Japan, the "Tanabata Festival". It is also called a "Star Festival"(七夕まつり). It is celebrated every July 7.

Star Origami Hangs in a Bamboo at Hachinohe Station

According to legend, every July 7 it is the time where two lovers unite in the Milky Way to renew their their ancient bond of love. Japanese believes that this is a perfect time of expressing their dreams and hopes. And definitely it will be granted.

Unfortunately, the Tanabata festival will not be enjoyed in the streets. Where floats and decorations bring a lively atmosphere and
crowds will gathered together. It is because the coronavirus cases remained unsolved and continues to proliferate.

Different Tanzaku is hanging in a bamboo.

However, in Hachinohe Station, the government put bamboo inside in order to celebrate the Tanabata tradition. Everybody can write their wish on small strips of colored paper (tanzaku) and hang them on the bamboo. And people will also enjoy reading different wishes from different persons and will see the beautiful kinds of tanzaku.

1日でも常に戻りますように。
I wish someday will return to normal.

Indeed coronavirus affected badly throughout the world. Losses of lives, jobs, foods, opportunities and so many other aspects were crumpled. It is too much pain for all of us.

Hopefully, we will continue to hope that everything will return to normal. And this is also be my wish this coming celebration of Tanabata Festival. Let's do it together and dream together.

Best Wishes @jobreyes24.
