The Diary Game Season 3: Embracing Spring and Summer As Winter Ends| February 18-2022|club75

It seemed to me that the winter season has ended. In the past days, warm temperatures elevated that caused the snow to melt. I also noticed that the sun sets around six in the afternoon, unlike the previous days wherein it is already dark at five pm. Longer days are signs that the weather is now changing. Even those Sakura trees, started to have petals already. Listening to the news report here in Japan, it announces that Summer will begin early this year.

Shocks!

But, while we were expecting something, we were shocked to see the surrounding is covered with thick snow again today. So what we did, we just made fun with it while on our way to work. Some of my Filipino workmates were taking pictures for souvenirs. It might be our last snow experience here in Japan. But I do positively feel, though snowflakes are still falling, the weather is not too chilling anymore.

Excited for the next season

If you were to ask whether I'm happy that winter ends? My answer is a big yes!.. Finally, I can have my daily morning jog, do some fitness exercises, and do those activities that I missed for more than three months due to the winter season. This spring, I am also super excited to see our surroundings will turn green again. I'll be listening back to the sweet chirping of birds. I'll be watching the Sakura blossoms, seeing different colors of tulips, beautiful sunflowers, and a lot more. The inspiring beauty of nature will back to life again this spring season.

Summer plans

One good thing, the Japanese government has lessened its pandemic protocols. We expect that this summer everything will slowly back to normal and we will be free to roam around anywhere. One of my great plans this summer is to get fit. I missed those strenuous and painful exercises in the gym. It seems that my abs are gone this winter.
If ever my contract will be extended once again, I plan to do gardening so that I can plant some veggies for my leisure. Travel is also on my bucket list this summer. Hopefully, the suppression of this virus will continue until it will completely be gone.
