Today, we are celebrating the World's Teacher's Day, so I want to greet all the teachers a "HAPPY TEACHER's DAY". We are here, we are as successful as we are because of you our dear teachers.

Long time ago, when I was a kid, when I was still in my elementary years, our wall was so messy and dirty since I just love to write while talking. I feel like I am a teacher with my invisible students. Until when I reached highschool, I realized that I already love teaching. I love to teach young kids and I am so eager to teach them everything.

So, to make the story short, I took Bachelor of Secondary Education focusing in Mathematics. And now, I am already teaching in a public school in our place for almost 9 years already.

Teachers are said to be the unsung heroes, and I guess I saw it in my eyes and it was proven the moment I became one. Others think that we are high paid by the government, yes we are but we are not using our money on our own consumption. Before, when pandemic didn't strike the country, when we still have our face to face way of teaching, there were lots of students who doesn't eat their breakfast, and who doesn't have money to buy bondpapers, paper, ballpen or even snacks. And we, teachers as their advisers or subject teacher, we will not just listen to their cry, we sometimes get money from our pocket just to supply the needs of our students. Of course, not all but only some who badly needed it.

And these time of pandemic, we are considered as frontliners. Why? Because we will be entertaining many parents from different barangay especially when we are going to distribute the module every week and retrieving their son/daughter's answers. It is very risky for us because we will be holding the paper they are holding, but we have no choice and just do our job. The most important thing is we did it for our learner's future. We need not to stop the education just because of this pandemic, Because we never know when will this end. And if we are going to stop and wait for the pandemic to end, we will be wasting years to educate the learners. Yes, it has a big difference doing the modular approach and face-to-face way of teaching but we need to adopt changes so that we can move on. And I know at the end of the day, we will be thanking the DepEd for not surrendering us and for pursuing education even others hate it and bash them.

I as a teacher felt sad on my students especially I am teaching one of the hardest subject, the Math Subject. That's why I tried to make a video tutorial so that in my own little way I could relay them the topic they need to understand.

It is not really easy to become a working mom.

I teach and follow up kids in the morning, I also do many paperworks while sorting the modules and checking their answers.

And in the evening and weekdays, I need to do my responsibility as a mom like doing some household chores, washing the clothes, go to the grocery, playing with my kid and family time.

If you are going to think all of those, it is so tiresome and stressful but if you are goung yo do it with a happy heart everything is just a piece of cake.
