Today I am going to share with you my day with this ex-Japan OFW.

Working abroad is not really an easy responsiblity. If you will just go there without any motivation and goal, surely your life will be a mess. Because if you are motivated, you will have a direction and it will make you strong and fight the homesickness that you will feel.

My husband worked in Japan for over 5 years and went home last year due to the pandemic. And I still didn't let him apply again since it is so hard and very risky if he will work abroad again especially in this pandemic. So, they just try to comply the requirements for them to receive a cash assistance from DOLE.

And one of their requirements is to make an organization with 30 members. So, my husband and his friends contacted their friends who worked abroad (exclusive for Japan workers) who had a motor. And they need to pass the papers they need and make an officers. One of the goal of their org is to have a charity events wherein they will be going to remote places and send some goods.

And if it will be approved by the DOLE they will be receiving 30,000php each (600$). And in this trying times, that 30k is already a big help especially to those who has family to feed in.

To update their papers, their president is calling for a meeting from time to time especially when the signature of the members is in need. And one of the requirements also is for them to have a minutes in each meet up so they need to do it.

After the meeting, they had their snacks since one of the members donated 1,000php (20$).

The pres of the org aso made a sweatshirt for the team and of course the famous cherry blossom is present.

As a wife, I am hoping for the best for this organization. And I pray that their new org will be approved by the Dole so they could receive the cash assistance they need.
