According to what I read in Wikipedia, Sehirus cinctus is also known as the white edge burrowing bug, it is in the genus of burrowing insects belonging to the family Cydnidae, subfamily Sehirinae. They belong to the suborder Heteroptera, they are true insects. They also feed on plants in the Urticaceae and Lamiaceae families.
