Where Our Love Blooms

In this time of a year, it is the rainy season in my place Hue. It rains heavily and sometimes it causes a flood so that we call this time flood season. As a result, we always expect a sunny day to dry our stuff and dry our moisture body.

"After the rain, the sun will reappear..." Last week, the weather got better on my wife's day-off so I took her and my daughter for a walk on Vong Canh Hill. The hill is a quiet place with pines around. It is not far from city center so it took us 15 minutes get there.

After parking, we walked through green atmosphere of pine trees. Pine canopy was like a filter to get some sunshine through. And in the mind of happy father, sunshine was dancing. A new stone promenade was built last month so we followed the path which led us around. One side is the hill, one side is the Huong river. The cool air with smell of nature treated us well in a purified morning.

Because of flood water from its source, the river lost its green color but it will has it back in different seasons. The view from here is great, looking over the river and the mountainous landscape. I have been here when I go cycling but the feeling with family is different, caring and protecting.
When I go out with my family, I am always a carrier and do not be surprised to see me carrying a teddy bear rucksack.
