Hello steemian friends, on this occasion I will invite you all to follow my last trip in Kuala Lumpur. After a few days in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, it is finally time for me to return to my homeland, Indonesia.
I will depart from Kuala Lumpur International Airport Terminal 2 (KLIA2), so before we fly to Indonesia let's review this place first.

The journey from the condotel where I was staying to Kuala Lumpur International Airport Terminal 2 (KLIA2) was taken by online taxi for about an hour at a cost of about 110 Malaysian Ringgit or about 175 Steem (calculated based on prices steem on Friday, March 7, 2025). Fortunately, the traffic on that day was quite smooth so my wife and I arrived at the airport on time.
The area in front of the terminal was quite crowded with parked cars of passengers who were also eager to make their flights. My first impression upon arrival was that the airport was vast, grand and crowded. Despite this, the signs and information available were so helpful that I had no trouble finding my way to my departure destination.

After getting inside, I went straight down to the first floor to find a restaurant. Since the departure time was still quite long, I decided to have lunch at one of the restaurants at the airport. We decided to eat at one of the typical Malaysian culinary restaurants, this restaurant offers a wide selection of side dishes at affordable prices.
After finishing my meal and feeling full, I headed to the 3rd floor to check in, we read the departure information board to find out where we had to check in.
From the information board we can find out the check-in time and departure time, I tried to find my flight schedule with AK 393 aircraft with a departure point from Kuala Lumpur to Kualanamu Medan.
Just for information that I bought the ticket online on the Traveloka.com website, since leaving I have booked a ticket for both departure and return. the price of a round-trip ticket from Kualanamu Medan to Kualalumpur Malaysia is quite cheap, which is around 1,250,000 IDR per person or around 543 Steem.
The queue at the check-in counter was quite long, although there were many counters available. We queued at the counter with the letter X5. After waiting for a while, it was my turn to hand over my luggage and have it weighed.
The officer informed me that cabin baggage could not exceed 7 kg. Fortunately, I had already weighed my luggage beforehand so it did not exceed the specified limit. Next, we handed over a large suitcase that we had pre-booked to the officer to be stored in the airplane's luggage.
It is important to know that booking luggage online before departure will be cheaper than booking at the airport. At KLIA2, scales are also available for passengers who want to confirm the weight of their luggage. In addition, the inspection at this airport is very strict so we need to be careful not to exceed our luggage.
After the check in process was complete I then immediately entered one of the departure doors, through this door we had to face immigration officers, They then checked the documents we carried in the form of passports.
After passing the inspection process from the immigration officers we then went through the x-ray inspection process, we had to put down all the objects we were carrying in order to go through the inspection machine. Our bodies were not allowed to have metal objects such as watches and belts. What made it tiring was when this kind of inspection continued twice in different places.
After completing the inspection we then walked to the departure gate through the designated door, according to the information on the flight ticket I had to find door Q3 and wait there to get ready before departure.
The walk to the departure gate is very long, which shows how vast the airport is. As I walked to the departure gate from here I could see the parking area of planes getting ready for their next departure. I was sure that one of them was the plane I was about to board.
I continued to walk looking for door Q3 of our departure area, on our right and left side there were tons of branded products being sold, from watches, perfumes, and many others.
I found this a little strange, if we were to buy one of the products here it would mean that we could make our cabin contents exceed the 7kg weight or the specified weight or this is one of the airport's business strategies.
I finally arrived at door Q3, where we could see many people already waiting in the queue space. The waiting room is also quite spacious and clean. To the right of this waiting room are toilets and refillable drinking water. So passengers can comfortably go to the toilet now instead of going to the toilet on the airplane, which is cramped.

After waiting for a while the officer announced that we passengers were expected to enter the plane immediately, after a while the plane finally took off Goodbye Malaysia. Goodbye Kuala Lumpur International Airport Terminal 2 (KLIA2). It's over.
