Crypto Newbies Community

There are many blogs that provide deep technical details of cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology or different opinions on the technical analysis of market trends for crypto trading. However, this can be confusing for newbies in the crypto space.

As techies, we get passionate about the technology and what it can do. However, the technology itself isn't going to drive wide adoption. We need to highlight the real utility and value of cryptocurrencies to the masses.

We are also a relatively insular group of people talking about cryptocurrency to other people who know and like to talk about cryptocurrency. We therefore reinforce each other's messages and viewpoints. However, when I speak about cryptocurrency at work, people look at me if I am crazy and will say things like, "Bitcoin's bubble has already burst."

So we need to do better at demonstrating value to a wider community and that is what this community is for.

Community Objective

This community serves two main objectives:

1. To help newbies in the crypto world to get started without necessarily having a deep technical understanding. If we want to have mass adoption have cryptocurrency it needs to be simplified so that more people can understand it and use it.
2. To advocate the use of cryptocurrency and blockchain technology by highlighting real use cases that will benefit society
