Search

EverSteem supports voting on posts that are created on other platforms. To do that, EverSteem provides an interface to easily put a post link.

You can directly input a post link in the search bar, and press 'Go' button.

Let's try with this wonderful post by @remlaps written 2 months ago.

As you can see there is no such post since it was not created in EverSteem app.

Then EverSteem app shows the post where you can still vote on the post.

You can see the new comment by @bot.eversteem in the background of the following image.

If a post is older than the normal voting period, then the following message appears in the voting dialog.

The author reward is automatically set to the author when the comment is created.

EverSteem has another way to support a post older than voting period, which is a Support or tipping.

You can see the current support state of this post in the above image. When you click the red Support button, the following dialog appears:

Yes it is as same as token transferring to the author.

Using the Steem Keychain, it is super easy to support an author.

Boom. you became a support and the total amout of supports is shown in the Support section.
