Today I will tell you in detail what I did on 04-04-2022.
Today is the 3rd day of Ramadan and there are 27 days left until the end of Ramadan and I will fast for another 27 days. In this process, I would like to remind you that I will share the photos of the meals I ate at sahur (the meal I ate before sunrise; around 05:00 in the morning, and iftar (at 20:00 in the evening when the sun goes down).
We have now completed the winter season where I live and the air temperatures can sometimes even exceed 20 degrees during the day. With the approach of summer, I bought two slippers to be able to move comfortably both at home and outside. Today I will share with you the dishes I prepared for sahur and iftar and more.
Today I woke up at 4:00 in the morning. Then I started to prepare nutritious meals for myself for the sahur time. Yesterday and two days ago, I prepared two different kinds of soup for sahur, and today I wanted to prepare a soup in the same way. The type of soup I prepared today: Tomato Soup
Next to my soup, I finished my meal with pita bread, one of the most sold products in bakeries and patisseries, which are indispensable for the month of Ramadan, and a salad that I prepared using tomatoes, cucumber, pomegranate syrup, lemon, lettuce, red cabbage and olive oil. It will be much more delicious if you use pomegranate syrup in the salads you prepare at home. You can also choose boiled corn and pickled cucumbers as an extra.
Since I haven't eaten or drank anything for about 15 hours during the day, I can say that I am a little tired since we are still at the beginning. But today we finished third, I have to get back to my work on the SteemFoods Community. I'll be making our announcements one after the other soon, don't worry. Our users who read my posts here can see my activities during the day.
I used to wear wool slippers at home because it was very cold in the winter where I live, now that the air temperatures have increased and we are getting closer to the summer season, I bought two different kinds of slippers for myself, both for home and outside, from the store where I live. Except for a special invitation or meeting with my friends in the summer, I usually like to go everywhere in slippers.
I paid about 18 STEEM for two kinds of slippers.
As iftar time was approaching, I decided to prepare a menu. I determined my menu as pea dish, rice, salad and cheese halva for dessert. First, I wanted to start by cooking a pea dish. For the pea meal; I prepared it using canned green peas, carrots, potatoes, onions and tomato paste. I haven't been preparing a green pea dish for a very long time, I couldn't add this green pea to my dish because the beef and chicken fillets at home were finished, but if you have meat at home, I definitely recommend you to add it.
I prepared rice pilaf next to the green pea dish I prepared. I think the combination of rice pilaf and green peas is great. I added the rice pilaf that I prepared to my plate to the bottom part and completed my main menu by adding green peas on it.
For my iftar menu, I preferred cheese halva for dessert. Instead of preparing cheese halva at home, I bought it from the patisserie where I live. I think cheese halva, which is economical, low in calories and low in sugar, is great. If you have fresh white cheese, egg yolk, butter, granulated sugar and semolina at home, you can prepare this dessert. I've never prepared it at home either, but I plan to try it one day. I can make an ice cream dessert with semolina…
This was the activities I did today, see you in my next diary ... :)
