Composting Rose Stems And Leaves

A few days ago I did some pruning of my roses. The problem is that after pruning, there is organic waste in the form of stems and leaves of the rose plant. As a nature lover, of course we will not just throw away organic waste. I did simple composting of the rose stems and leaves.

First, I cut the stems and leaves of the roses into small pieces. The small size will speed up the composting process.

Second, the plant stems and leaves are put into a 5 cm thick pot.
Then cover the stems and leaves with a mixture of soil and compost. Then enter the stems and leaves then cover again with a mixture of soil and compost. Do so until the stems and leaves run out.

After that, put it in a cool place. Usually within a month the organic waste will turn into compost.
Green greetings everyone.
away.
