Hi everyone. I am @mesbakh, a new member to this community. I hope that by joining this community I can share stories and experiences about environmental issues.
In my own country, Indonesia, throwing garbage in ditches or rivers is an act that is still done by many people, even though it is dangerous.
The problem is that the drains also become clogged so that when it rains heavily, the water cannot pass immediately so it overflows onto the road. Sometimes it is also accompanied by a foul smell and black dirty mud.
If it is so, then various diseases can appear and spread everywhere. Actually, it's ironic, we're all taught at school to throw trash in its place, but in practice it's hard to ask for forgiveness. In left ear out right ear. The river that should be clean has turned into the largest and longest trash can in the world.
